Left and Leaving

This photo-realist painting is another example of my exploration of technique, as I developed my skills painting. It's a stunner in person, and another one I've refused to sell over the years. The title comes from a favorite song written by The Weakerthans. There is nothing thematically consistent with the song, it was just semiotic playfulness bordering on idiotic.
