Seed Gathering

This is a quick study I made, playing with style, trying to find my way to a new voice in visual art. I love the simplicity and rawness of this piece. Letting the brushwork be brushwork, and empty space be compositional; I think of it as "seed gathering," in that this study makes me feel like I'm on to something that could eventually blossom.
